ClaryFIRE ("we", "us") is committed to collecting as little personal data as possible. This page explains what we collect, why, and how you can contact us.

What we do not collect

The Lite calculator runs entirely in your browser. The financial values you enter (income, expenses, savings, capital, and any calculated results) are never transmitted to our servers or to any third party by default.

What we do collect

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookie-free analytics service, to understand aggregate traffic (page views, referrers, device type). It does not use cookies or fingerprinting and cannot identify you individually.

We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use this site. Unlike Cloudflare Web Analytics, Google Analytics uses cookies and may collect information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and pages visited. It does not receive the financial values you enter into the calculator. Google Analytics only loads if you accept the cookie banner shown on your first visit; declining keeps it switched off for that browser. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's site data for claryfire.com, or opt out globally using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

We also record anonymized usage events (for example: the calculator was started, the Pro plan link was clicked) to understand how people move through the product. Each event carries a random, session-only identifier, the page, and, if present, the campaign that brought you here. These events never include the financial values you enter, and never include your email address.

If you leave your email on the Pro waitlist, we store your name and email in order to keep you posted. ClaryFIRE Pro is available for purchase now; payment is processed by a third-party payment provider, and we never see or store your card details.

If you ask us to email you a copy of your report (Lite or Pro), we store your name, email address, and a summary of your result (your FIRE number, freedom date, and similar figures — never your raw income, expenses, or capital) so we can send it and, once, a short follow-up asking if it was useful. This only happens if you take that action; simply using the calculator does not create this record.

Local storage

ClaryFIRE Pro can optionally save a scenario in your browser's local storage so you can return to it later. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Your choices

You can use ClaryFIRE Lite without providing any personal information. To request deletion of any data we hold about you (such as an email address on file), contact us at [email protected].

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
